My quest in this lifetime

At the age of eight I thought to myself: I ‘m going to be of real importance to the world. And this thought was strong and I was sure that somehow this would come to pass.
My mother is proud to recall that I was quite sensitive and strongly intuitive. I was not surprised when I knew what would be said or when I could sense a situation clearly. Others were surprised.
When I was 14 politics entered my life, socialism and communism to be more precise. I became very active and organised and attended some great manifestations and demonstrations. It was the Vietnam-war period, so we had a lot of injustice to fight, even in Holland.
Then marihuana entered my life. For the first time in my life I relaxed so consciously. The stress of the marriage of my parents pressed heavy on me, so it was a great way to release some of that, blowing away with my friends. Also I lost virginity in those years, which brought a lot of joy, but also brought distress in the periods I was without a girlfriend.
In 1975 I learned Transcendental Meditation. From the moment my friends started meditating I was certain that this was a good thing to do. I love the deep stillness of it and the wise words of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. I took every course I could afford and went to some of the first siddhi programs in Holland. I learned to fly in a Vedic sense. This was really good! I attended some of the global coherence-activities: meditating with a large group to reduce stress and violence worldwide.
In this period I read a lot about the saints from the east, about Buddhism, Hinduism and other esoteric stuff. I attended some astrology trainings and visited several healers of various skills. In those days Benjamin Crème began to declare the coming of Maitreya. That gave me another impulse of hope for a great future.
Then the householder period entered my life and my focus was less clear. I still had my interest in becoming enlightened and live a conscious life. At the same time I got serious jobs as a teacher, a lovely wife, three great kids and a mortgage to take care of.
In the past ten years I trained myself to coach people and had several people around me that guided me, so to speak. At some point I was given the nickname Eelcoach, of which I am still proud. (not that I use it often)
Three years ago (2006) Jivanjili came into my life. She is a great guru with a lovely mix of humour, feet-on-the-ground-realism, great knowledge of Hinduism, Buddhism, and the wisdom of the Native Americans and of the Maori and Aboriginals.
Last year I took the Merkaba-light training and Unity Breath from Donna Kleipool, (after Drunvalo Melchizedek) here in the Netherlands, which was wonderful and gave me a lot of new light.
Always eager to learn more I recently came across the channellings of Kuthumi, Adamus St Germain and lots of others.
Jeshua Swanson, Steve Rother, Geoffrey Hoppe, Lee Caroll and many others have provided so much knowledge and information the past few years. The Internet is loaded with the messages (if you hadn’t noticed).
In the meantime at my work I encountered Hans Jansen, who inspired me and encouraged me in my work as a teacher and coach at the teacher training college of Hogeschool Utrecht in the Netherlands. Hans is both a great pedagogue, a society critic and a spirited man. He introduced me to the critical pedagogues and his way of handling the chaos theory in many a renewal of educational structures is marvellous. I am very proud to have written an article in his first book as Lector of ‘Vernieuwende opleidingsmethodiek en –didactiek’, ‘Levend leren’ called ‘Coaching learning’.
In the december 2008 I joined a group around Nanco Immanuel Nieling who founded The Galactic Heart Centre in Ede, Holland. The workshops and people here are the finest. Many a great master becomes unveiled and many activations take place. Nanco is a great master, although he is in his twenties.
Half way 2009 I met White Feather and it was an immediate remembering from times way back.
Starting from 12 - 12 - 2009 we started a monthly group-gathering at our home we call Terra Nova: It has begun! Every time the group is very happy to be together and some marvelous things have happened. It is a great honor and pleasure to gather these wonderful souls around us.
